Shabana held the role of acting principal where she had to go above and beyond the call of duty to support her community during the Fort McMurray fires. Shabana helped reunite displaced students who were separated during the fires with their parents. She is an action-oriented leader whose words and actions combined with her integrity will be a fantastic addition to Horizon Elementary. Shabana joins us from Fort McMurray where she is the Vice-Principal of the Islamic School since 2014.
