Visitors regulation:

If a parent needs to communicate with a teacher or the program manager, they must book an appointment. Teachers are not available to discuss any matters at the time of drop off/pickup.

To support public health contact tracing efforts in the event that an attendee tests positive, our program should keep daily records of anyone entering the child care who stays for 15 minutes or longer(e.g. staff working each day, children, visitors etc.).

If a parent/guardian has an appointment and will be staying in the building for 15 mins or more, they must do the following:

  • Wear their mask before entering the building

  • Use hand sanitizer provided by the entrance

  • Sign in using visitor log posted by the entrance

  • Assess themselves for symptoms of COVID-19 using the Alberta Health Daily Checklist. (copies are available by the entrance).

Any personal information that is collected for COVID-19 contact tracing is only to be used for this purpose. Records will only be kept for 4 weeks and will be safely discarded afterwards
